Duved strand

mountains, we’re building “Duved Strand” — 18 architect-designed twinhouses of 140 sqm and 162 sqm, available for ownership. The architects have made the most of the unique setting in both the exterior and interior designs, with thoughtful placement, materials, roof angles, and large glass windows. These windows frame views of the Indalsälven, Mullfjället, Åreskutan, and Renfjället mountains. Each house has a separate carport with storage.

The location is close to Duved's central area and borders its own green space, with direct access to the river's edge. Here, everything you need is within walking distance. The village ski-lift takes you up to Hamrebacken, and cross-country trails are just around the corner. Duved village offers a preschool, a newly built school for grades K-9 ( meaning till the age of 16), grocery stores, gyms, restaurants, a health center, and much more.

Meet Sara and Carl, who, along with their puppy Rut, live on Älvstigen in Duved. In fall 2024, the couple bought one of the first completed twinhouses in the Duved Strand residential project, situated between the Indalsälven River and Mullfjället, the mountain neighboring the village of Duved.

We designed the homes with shared architectural elements in materials and roof angles to create a cohesive village feel along a central street. The facades and woodwork are constructed from uniform timber panels painted in a palette of three natural wood tones. Inside, we’ve maximized ceiling height with two-story sections and efficient floor plans featuring multiple bedrooms.”
